This respected independent school for boys in Melbournes inner east is renowned for fostering academic excellence character development and a strong sense of community. We are currently seeking passionate and experienced educators to join our teaching team for the second half of the 2025 academic year:
1 x FullTime Science Teacher (Years 7 10)
1 x FullTime Mathematics/Science Teacher (Years 7 10)
2 x PartTime Mathematics Teachers (approx. 2 3 days/week each Years 7 10)
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and highquality lessons in accordance with the Victorian Curriculum.
Develop and implement differentiated learning strategies to cater to diverse student needs.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages academic achievement and personal growth.
Monitor and report on student progress maintaining accurate records and assessments.
Collaborate with fellow staff members to support the holistic development of students.
Contribute to school life beyond the classroom including cocurricular activities as required.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education and subjectspecific areas (Science and/or Mathematics).
Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
Demonstrated experience teaching Years 7 10 preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to the values and ethos of independent boys education.
Flexibility to work across a range of schools and year levels (Prep to Year 12) Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude Passion for teaching and a commitment to student wellbeing Ability to step into a variety of classrooms and make a positive impact
