Hybrid

Successful applicant must work full time on site for 3 months or until they understand the department s ICT landscape requirements and project objectives. Flexible working arrangements may be considered afterward subject to approval per the Department s operational needs and ICT Contractor Working from Home Guidelines. Contractors must be onsite in Canberra at least 3 days per week. Remote work costs (eg travel accommodation utilities equipment etc) are the contractor s responsibility.

Job details

Delivery Managers unblock issues support the delivery team and monitor and improve performance of the team. They use agile methodologies learning and iterating the product and processes frequently to meet user needs. They work with Product Managers to define the roadmap for products and services remove blockers and support the delivery team so that they can maintain delivery throughput.


Key duties and responsibilities

The Specified Personnel will be responsible for providing the following deliverables including but not limited to:

  • Managing multiple system portals for various business stakeholders;
  • Providing technical leadership ensuring business solutions optimally built configured and managed to meet the desired business outcomes;
  • Assisting and preparing Capital Investment Proposals with business stakeholders;
  • Producing detailed work plans schedules budgets and resource plans for the technical solution of Siebel projects;
  • Coordinating and managing project deliverables and milestones with the relevant departmental system areas and owners;
  • Providing technical assurance of Siebel solutions and forward plan technical upgrades;
  • Managing the end to end solution delivery of Siebel projects reviewing functional designs ensuring solutions follow and adhere to platform standards frameworks and capabilities; and
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders to enhance project outcomes.

Specified Personnel will be expected to transfer skills and knowledge to departmental staff and ensure appropriate documentation is stored in accordance with the Department s recordkeeping policy and practices.

The Specified Personnel will also be responsible for producing the following deliverables including but not limited to:

  • Deployment Strategy;
  • Technical Solutions
  • Work plans;
  • Schedules.

All deliverables performed by the specified personnel must:

  1. be performed or delivered promptly and without delay in accordance with the timeframes notified by the buyer from time to time; and
  2. meet the assessment and performance criteria set out in any monitoring and performance assessment processes notified to the seller from time to time.

Criteria

The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified. This is equal to 5000 characters.

Essential criteria

1. 10 years of software development experience on Siebel IP17 onwards

2. Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools including Agile and version control systems.

3. Technical experience and knowledge of at least one of the following; RestAPI Web Services MQ Javascript BIP Reporting Web development or Open UI.

4. Deep understanding of Siebel CRM modules configuration customization and integration.

5. Experience with integrating Siebel CRM with other systems and technologies

Desirable criteria

1. Experience working in large government organisations.

2. Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

3. Excellent organisational and time management skills

4. Strong ability to manage competing priorities with a strong sense of accountability and urgency
