YOUR NEW ROLE

The role is responsible for effectively and competently planning preparing and leading the delivery of events at SOH. The role oversees every aspect of an event including the assessment acquisition allocation direction control and analysis of time finances people products services information and other resources to achieve the objectives and agreed outcomes of the event on time and within budget. This positions acts as the primary contact for customers who utilise SOH as their event destination from bookings through to settlement and event closure. The role advocates on behalf of the customer while reconciling the needs of the various stakeholders and brokering the interface with SOH service providers

ARE YOU THE ONE

Key Responsibilities/skills:

Tertiary qualifications and/or substantial experience in event management

Demonstrated highlevel leadership ability in a challenging work environment including conflict management and negotiation skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and capacity for selfmotivation.

Experience managing budgets and financial processes.

Sound knowledge and experience in the management implementation and interpretation of contracts.

Advanced computer skills proficient use of event management systems.

Outstanding attention to detail and project management skills for managing multiple events simultaneously meeting strict deadlines and forward planning while maintaining an overview of the integration of event projects with interconnected activity.
