Job Description
To support us in realising our ambitious goals we are looking for a talented Front End Lead Developer who is proficient in passionate about integrating AI capabilities into user interfaces and experienced in team leadership.
Your primary focus is on developing frontend components using wellknown workflows and driving AI adoption throughout the development process. As Lead youll coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure identifying opportunities to leverage AI tools and capabilities to enhance productivity and product quality. You will work in a modern enterprise web stack with an experienced development team helping to cultivate an environment where AI adoption becomes a natural part of the development workflow.
What youll do...
Manage and lead a team of frontend developers including recruitment performance management and professional development
Contribute to technical research on frontend topics and collaborate with the Product team to define our frontend strategy
Acquire excellent product knowledge understanding the features weve built and developing solutions that leverage AI to solve complex business problems
Lead and guide frontend research and technical design for all projects providing frontend solutions to both local and remote development teams
Lead the knowledge sharing and training process in the frontend area to ensure high coding quality and the production of reusable maintainable and testable code
Architect and implement micro frontend solutions that enable teams to work independently while maintaining cohesive user experiences
Design and maintain our design system with a focus on consistency reusability and performance
Apply the RADIO framework (Requirements exploration Architecture Data modeling Interface definition Optimisation) when designing APIs and technical solutions
Optimise frontend build processes using Vite and other modern tooling to improve developer experience and application performance
Coordinate with other department leads to ensure alignment between frontend development and broader company goals
Work on code implementation when required to develop efficient scalable and robust code using ReactJS/TypeScript
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to improve code quality
Qualifications :
A commitment to collaborative problem solving sophisticated design AI innovation and quality product is important in this role.
What youll bring...
Proven experience managing and leading frontend development teams
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate mentor and develop team members
Experience working on a variety of projects with React JS
Knowledge of Redux and Reduxsaga
Extensive knowledge of modern web technologies including HTML CSS 3 JSON etc.
Experience in applying design patterns writing unit tests and optimising performance in applicationlevel Typescript/JavaScript
Disciplined selfstarter capable of working independently or in close collaboration within an agile development team
Some Understanding of Cloud Technologies (preferably AWS)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate issues to technical and nontechnical audience and clearly document developed solutions
