Job Description

You will be responsible for designing building and maintaining the Customer Systems application suite. This is a full stack handson role that will be developing new features for our customers  which meet the needs of our business. Your role a graduate software engineer will involve building with best practices and resiliency in mind adhering to agile processes and dealing with business and  technology stakeholders.

Impact you will make in this role: You will be responsible for developing deploying and supporting our Operational  Support System platforms. Our customers rely on our products to connect communicate and do  business across Australia New Zealand and Singapore.

After hours support: There is an expectation that in this role you will participate in the teams after hours support roster (level 3) after a period of mentoring & training. We also understand that as a business we need to do everything we can to ensure our platforms are  resilient and selfhealing and engineering leadership will provide the time to make sure we do.


Qualifications :

What you need to succeed:

  • Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience & understanding in writing & running applications in the Java language
  • 1 2 years experience in building Java applications for production is desirable
  • Formal Java certification is desirable  
  • Knowledge in SQL skills
  • Knowledge of basic Linux commands
  • Have a sense of ownership of technical projects and improvement of engineering practices.
  • You are a person who continually self learns and improves your technical skillsets.
  • Are curious tenacious creative but are also an effective team player.
