deeptech company that creates and produces internationally awarded
smart glasses. Our headquarters is in Vienna where we develop and
manufacture both the hardware and the software of the smart glasses.
From research & development engineering production to marketing

company. Although we have our roots in Austria we are born global and
work with customers and sales partners all over the world.

Tasks
What Youll Be Doing
Youll take the lead on mechanical design challenges across the full development cycle from early concepts to prototyping to final series production. Your daytoday will involve:
- Creating and evolving components and assemblies using 3D CAD (PTC Creo SolidWorks or similar)
- Translating product ideas into manufacturable designs considering both additive and traditional production methods
- Managing the technical documentation and drawing release process
- Taking ownership of mechanical concepts and continuously refining them through iteration
- Collaborating closely with crossfunctional teams in development quality production and product management
- Youll be challenged with designing compact and precise mechanical solutions that integrate seamlessly with optics electronics and embedded systems.
Requirements
What You Bring to the Team
Were not just looking for someone who can operate CAD software were seeking a curious and collaborative engineer with a deep understanding of materials mechanics and manufacturing. Ideally you have:
- A completed technical education (TU/FH/HTL) in mechanical engineering or industrial design
- 6 years of handson experience in mechanical design and product development
- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (ideally with Creo or SolidWorks)
- Solid understanding of prototyping 3D printing injection molding and other manufacturing techniques
- A structured way of working with experience in design reviews documentation and change management
- Bonus points if you have experience with product certification data/variant management or quality processes
- A proactive mindset team spirit and eagerness to innovate and learn
- Good command of English; German is a plus
- Valid work permit for Austria
- You have a strong sense for product design with the ability to develop solutions that are not only technically sound but also userfriendly and visually refined.
- You combine engineering expertise with a solid understanding of product design principles.
