A well-established cable & wire manufacturing company in Santa Teresa NM is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Technician to ensure that products and services meet established quality standards. This role is vital to the companys commitment to excellence involving oversight of quality procedures audits and collaboration with various departments to maintain and improve process standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills quality systems knowledge and the ability to lead and train others while upholding the companys values of integrity excellence and safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Supervise and lead the quality control team in conducting product testing and audits.
- Develop implement and maintain quality control procedures and documentation.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze quality-related data and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
- Identify and evaluate areas for improvement in quality systems and processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage and follow up on customer complaints and internal non-conformities.
- Train and develop quality staff to ensure a high level of technical and procedural competency.
- Stay current on relevant quality regulations certifications and industry standards.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Must have 1 year of revious experience in a quality supervision or technician role preferably in a wire manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control tools methodologies and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with other departments.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
