Ensure ongoing compliance with federal state and local wage and hour laws (FLSA PTO tax deductions etc.
Manage audits special projects (W2s annual increases bonuses) and the payroll system relationship (Dayforce)
Recommend and implement improvements to systems and procedures including updates to the Dayforce platform
Collaborate crossfunctionally on companywide bonus and vacation programs
Serve as a backup for the Payroll Manager when needed (though not part of weekly payroll processing)
Deep knowledge of payroll compliance internal controls and taxation
Multistate payroll experience is essential
Proficiency in Dayforce and Microsoft Office
Strong leadership organizational and analytical skills
Bachelor s degree in Accounting Business Administration HR or related field
4 years of payroll experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role preferred
