Overview
The Gynaecologist position at our facility in Guntur Andhra Pradesh is a critical role aimed at providing specialized womens health care. As a consultant you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various conditions related to the reproductive system. This role not only requires advanced medical knowledge and surgical skills but also demands a compassionate approach to patient care and support. Gynaecologists play a pivotal role in preventive health measures reproductive health education and the management of pregnancy and childbirth which are essential for the wellbeing of women in the community. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough gynecological examinations and assessments.
- Diagnose and treat a range of reproductive system disorders.
- Perform surgical procedures including hysterectomies and laparoscopies.
- Provide prenatal and postnatal care for expecting mothers.
- Manage contraceptive counseling and family planning services.
- Maintain comprehensive patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate patients on health practices and gynecological issues.
- Monitor and manage patients with highrisk pregnancies.
- Participate in community outreach programs for womens health education.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in gynecological medicine.
- Assess and manage patients experiencing menopauserelated issues.
- Guide patients on lifestyle modifications for improved reproductive health.
- Conduct research and contribute to clinical studies.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MBBS) from an accredited institution.
- Postgraduate degree in Gynecology (MS DGO).
- State medical license to practice as a Gynaecologist in Andhra Pradesh.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Demonstrated surgical experience and proficiency.
- Strong understanding of reproductive endocrinology.
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage emergencies.
- Compassionate and patientcentered approach.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Commitment to ethical medical practices.
- Membership in a relevant professional association (e.g. FOGSI).
- Research experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of current trends in women s health.
- Willingness to participate in community health programs.
