Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and resultsdriven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Indian apparel market particularly in activewear and western wear and a proven track record of building relationships with brands. This role will focus on acquiring new clients managing existing accounts and driving Thimblerr s growth in the Indian market.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition:
- Identify and target emerging and established Indian apparel brands in activewear and western wear segments.
- Build a robust pipeline of potential clients and convert leads into longterm partnerships.
- Showcase Thimblerr s value proposition as a gamechanging solution for faster demandlinked manufacturing.
Client Relationship Management:
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction retention and upselling opportunities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries concerns and feedback.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and exceed client expectations.
Market Research and Strategy:
- Conduct indepth research on the Indian apparel market focusing on activewear and western wear trends competitors and opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and expand Thimblerr s client base.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with the marketing product and operations teams to align business development efforts with company goals.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance market trends and client feedback to leadership.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in business development sales or account management preferably in the fashion apparel industry.
- Strong understanding of the Indian apparel market particularly activewear and western wear segments.
- Excellent communication negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Proven ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and meet targets.
