Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP Finance consultant with a strong focus on COPA (Controlling Profitability Analysis) and its integration with Project Systems (PS). The ideal candidate will have handson S/4HANA implementation experience and a deep understanding of COPA configuration margin analysis and the intricacies of PS integration. This role will be crucial in supporting our mention project e.g. S/4HANA migration new implementation and ensuring accurate financial planning and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in S/4HANA implementation projects focusing on COPA and PS integration.
- Configure and customize COPA to meet business requirements including characteristic derivation value field assignments and reporting structures.
- Design and implement margin analysis solutions within COPA providing insights into profitability by product customer region etc.
- Develop and maintain seamless integration between COPA and Project Systems (PS) ensuring accurate cost flow and project profitability reporting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements conduct workshops and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Perform system testing including unit testing integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide enduser training and support on COPA and PS related processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve COPA and PS related issues.
- Stay uptodate with the latest SAP innovations and best practices in COPA and PS.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Information Systems or a related field.
- Minimum of Number years of experience in SAP Finance with a strong focus on COPA.
- Proven experience in at least Number full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations specifically in COPA configuration and PS integration.
- Deep understanding of COPA configuration including characteristic derivation value field assignments allocation methods and reporting tools.
- Expertise in margin analysis techniques and methodologies within COPA.
- Strong knowledge of Project Systems (PS) and its integration with COPA including cost planning budgeting and project profitability analysis.
- Proficiency in financial planning and reporting within SAP.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- SAP certification in relevant modules is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other SAP modules such as FI MM and SD.
- Knowledge of ABAP development for custom reporting and enhancements.
- Experience with data migration tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
