Position Description
The Certerra Black Eagle Consulting Office Construction Materials Tester reports directly to the QC Project Manager and provides onsite construction inspection and testing per the project plans and specifications.
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years construction experience
Practical knowledge of the International Code Council (ICC) Chapter 17 Special Inspections and Tests
Combination of certifications in ICCs and/or AWSCWI and/or ASNT (UTMTPT)
Occupational Safety and Health Administration. (OSHA) 10Hour Certification.
A current and valid Nevada drivers license that will allow insurance through the company insurance provider.

ACI Concrete FieldTesting Grade 1 Certification
NAQTC Certification (sampling & density aggregates asphalt)
ICC Reinforced Concrete
ICC Structural Masonry
ICC Spray Applied Fireproofing
ICC Structural Welding
ICC Structural Steel & Bolting
ICC Prestressed Concrete
AWS/CWI
ASNT Level II (UTMTPT)
Essential Skills
Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exhibit excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and/or within Team environments.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate on a daily basis with the QC Project Manager
Attend internal preconstruction kickoff meetings with Project Engineer and QC Project Manager.
Perform materials testing/inspection and provide proper documentation on a daily basis.
