Job Description
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The School of Computing (SoC) at Montclair State University invites applications for multiple adjunct faculty positions across a wide range of computing disciplines. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forwardthinking collaborative academic environment leveraging Montclairs strategic New Jersey location to shape the future of computing education and support the evolving demands of the workforce. The SoC is dedicated to delivering a conceptual theoretical experimental and experiential computing curriculum that includes labs and communityengaged projectbased learning. Our mission is to serve students from all backgrounds and learning needs by fostering inclusive highimpact educational experiences.
We are especially interested in candidates who can bring realworld industry perspectives to undergraduate and graduatelevel teaching and who are passionate about mentoring students cultivating innovation and guiding their academic and professional growth. Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of industryaligned programs including certificates microcredentials and online masterslevel courses. We welcome collaborative adaptable team players who are excited to support and advance new initiatives within the School.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
A Masters degree in a relevant field is required.
Extensive industry experience in areas such as programming software engineering cybersecurity and other foundational or advanced computing topics.
Demonstrated alignment with industry standards and certifications in fields such as cybersecurity software engineering and data science.
