Hours of Work: Avg. 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Compensation: $27.50 $32.00 plus a generous benefit and Pension Package

The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Director Facilities Management Maintenance Painters play an important role in the room turnover process. The painters must be prepared to work fast and efficiently. Maintenance painters are responsible for inspecting rooms to be painted for pest control cleanliness and readiness to accept paint. The painter should ensure that sufficient preparation was done ahead to promote an efficient room turnover process.
About you:
You are required to have the physical ability necessary to carry out strenuous maintenance painter responsibilities. The maintenance worker is regularly exposed to and in direct contact with dust & dirt.
You will be required to use only the paint and products provided by Atira.
You will be required to request supplies ahead of running out of supply.
Uses diligence to familiarize with using all the different equipment and Personal Protection Equipment available for different paint jobs.
Learns about the different solvents and how they are used for cleanup and wrap up purposes.
If after initial inspection the room to be painted has not been completely prepped the Painter should then perform those duties on a moderate basis
Learns over time to perform wall and ceiling repairs.
Additional Requisites/Assets:
Minimum one (1) year Maintenance painter work experience;
Be able to work well without constant supervision.
Thorough knowledge of community issues is required.
