Job Summary
Position Objective: Assist in collecting information and documenting processes to improve the quality and efficiency of manufacturing operationsJob Description
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Documentation of detailed sequential work instruction and development of method of diagrams graphs and charts to illustrate routing work flow floor layouts and procedure of material handling and use of the steps and time taken of the process and identify opportunities to remove non valueadded time devices (such as stop watch or video camera) to determine Labor Times and Machine Standard data and draft reports and graphs to indicate or validate deviations from existing operations and standards.
Experience/Skills:
Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft office
Exceptional technical skills analytical ability judgment and strong operational focus
Excellent organization and time management skills
Either knowledge of 2D drawing in AutoCAD or willingness to learn to make 2Ddrawings in AutoCAD.
Minimum of 2 4 years experience in manufacturing
Education:
Associate Degree in Engineering or related field; applicable experience may be considered in lieu of degree
