Qualifications:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in general maintenance mechanical plumbing or electrical fields is preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
A valid Current Drivers License is required.
Driving record must not reflect any major driving offenses (i.e. DUI felony convictions involving a motor vehicle suspended license three or more speeding tickets or other moving violations) within the last 36 months.
If using a personal vehicle for Logan Health business state law minimum liability coverage limits must be met.
Proven ability in a variety of skilled trades related to facility and grounds maintenance repairs procedures and techniques is preferred.
Ability to operate a wide variety of machinery equipment and tools necessary for facility and grounds maintenance and repairs is preferred.
Strong understanding of occupational hazards and safety standards including regulations set forth by OSHA NFPA EPA and ASHRAE.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings related to construction is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Job Specific Duties:
Troubleshoot perform preventative and predictive maintenance repairs and address routine maintenance problems in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Maintenance and repairs include but are not limited to electrical systems plumbing heating air conditioning refrigeration boilers lighting carpentry flooring vehicles Life Safety equipment laundry equipment and pool/spa operations as applicable for assigned area(s).
Perform pest management duties and pesticide applications as needed.
Safely and efficiently operate secure service store and clean assigned area(s) vehicles machinery equipment and tools.
Exhibit efficiency in the use of time products materials and assist in controlling material and labor costs for assigned area(s).
Utilize selfinitiative to assume repair and maintenance assignments working with minimal supervision.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
