Care Team Leader

15.00 per hour 38 hours per week Day Shifts

Our client a beautifully designed and purposebuilt care home for older adults is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with leadership experience in a care setting who is passionate about delivering highquality personcentred care.

As a Care Team Leader you will play a key role in overseeing the daytoday care delivered to residents. Youll lead by example supporting the care team with confidence and compassion while ensuring every individual receives respectful tailored support that meets their needs.

This role involves day shifts only allowing for a consistent worklife balance in a calm purposebuilt environment.

What Youll Need

  • A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in a care home setting ideally in a senior or supervisory role
  • Confidence in conducting appraisals supervisions and staff development
  • Strong leadership skills with a warm approachable and supportive manner
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of older adults

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the care team during shifts to provide outstanding personcentred care
  • Carry out and oversee appraisals and supervisions ensuring team members are supported and developed
  • Ensure all care plans and documentation are up to date and reflect residents individual needs
  • Foster a positive inclusive and respectful atmosphere for both residents and staff
  • Liaise with families external professionals and other departments to support holistic care
  • Promote best practices in care delivery and maintain compliance with policies and regulations
