Job Description
OCES supports older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing information and coordination of services. By promoting healthy save lives for our consumers we hope to allow them to stay as active and engaged in their lives and in their own communities for as long as possible.
We are looking for caring individuals to oversee food service operations at our Kingston/Hanover location for our Meals on Wheels Program which provides needed nutritious meals to our elder consumers. Work with us and feel good about the contribution you are making each day.
We will train you!
Weekday mornings only. 45 hours per day.
What you will do:
- Collaborate to assign and direct the work of volunteer staff and home delivered meals drivers
- Collaborating with COA Director to promote a congenial and harmonious meal site
- Delivering meals on occasion as necessary
- Ensuring that all health sanitation and safety regulations are met
- Providing accurate and timely reports as prescribed
- Receiving and accounting for donations according to OCES procedure
What you will bring to the job:
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to understand and follow regulations and procedures.
- Caring and sensitivity to our served population
- Food service experience desirable but not required.
- Some computer experience.
- Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation required.
