Job Description
Are you a hardworking and dedicated student and an inquisitive problem solver If so then Tektronix might be the place for you! As a Financial Analyst Intern you will gain insight to corporate finance and have the chance to contribute to business issues and often include interaction with senior leadership of Tektronix. We have a robust rotational program for our Finance team and the internship experience is crafted to reflect this as much as possible. We offer the opportunity to impact projects that span crossfunctional areas such as Commercial Sales Manufacturing Product Development and Service. This position can be performed remotely in a Hybrid setting or in person in Beaverton OR.
Requirements
- Acquiring and consolidating data to analyze and communicate target market share
- Conducting regression analysis on external data to resolve correlation with company sales and developing a market proxy model
- Crafting a critical metric dashboard for commercial sales leaders to have a sophisticated visual tool to better understand sales activity
- Deep dive problem solving analysis on maintenance and repair expenses in our Beaverton manufacturing facility
- All internship projects conclude with presentation of your work to the CFO and other senior leaders
Qualifications
- Must be actively pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business Finance or Economics (we will not be accepting Masters or MBA students)
- A motivated and driven individual with high degree of integrity would be ideal
- Works optimally within a team to meet sophisticated business needs
- Ideal candidate will have strong analytical presentation and interpersonal skills
- Growth mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
