Junior Data Engineer

At Roche we offer a hybrid work model that balances flexibility with inperson collaboration. Currently we ask employees to work from one of our offices (Warsaw or Pozna) an average of two days per week. These inoffice days may vary depending on business needs such as workshops conferences team meetings or other collaborative events.

Were looking for Junior Data Engineer who are eager to grow their skills in Data Engineering within Roches dynamic technology environment. Your Responsibilities
Design and Implementation of Data Pipelines: Develop and maintain data pipelines in the data lake environment using AWS services
Evaluate Open Data Formats: Assess and utilize open data formats to facilitate data storage and retrieval
Design EndtoEnd Data Experience: Create comprehensive data producer and data consumer experiences within the data lake ecosystem
Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with teams such as DevOps Data Engineering and Data Analysts to ensure seamless integration and data.
Who You Are
Basic AWS Services Knowledge: Familiarity with IAM roles AWS Glue and Glue Catalog S3 Athena Lake Formation
Basic understanding of Git commands and collaborative workflows
Data Engineering Concepts: Knowledge of ETL processes data pipelines data warehousing and data lakes
Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with SQL Python and understanding of data quality principles
Interest in AI technologies no deep experience needed but a desire to learn about tools like large language models (LLMs) is important
Curiosity and willingness to learn proactive in asking questions and exploring new tools
Team player comfortable collaborating sharing ideas and supporting the team
Communicative English able to read write and speak effectively in a team environment.
