New client onboarding means were looking for 4 compassionate reliable support workers to join our highsupport home in Tahmoor dedicated to supporting male clients with a mix of intellectual and physical disabilities.
This role is ideal for someone structured organised and confident in providing personal care manual handling meal preparation and medication support.
Shifts available at this home include morning day afternoon and active overnight (10:30pm6:30am)

Your role
- Supporting adults with complex mental health and intellectual and physical disabilities in an independent living model.
- Following positive behaviour support and care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers.
- Encouraging capacity building to enhance clients current skills such as hygiene safe relationships domestic duties using public transport and accessing the community safely.
- Promoting choice and controland show willingness to participate in clients day to day routines goals and interests.
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect.
Some of our requirements:
We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however whats important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers Licence or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster which may include mornings (6am2pm OR 7am3pm) afternoons (2pm10pm OR 3pm 11pm) sleepover (5pm9am).

If you have lived or worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years a certified International Police Check from that country/countries will also be required.
