Mvix a leading digital signage provider in the Dulles Technology Corridor is offering an outstanding opportunity for IT Support Supervisor with a specialization in Linux.

Typical hours are MondayFriday between 8 AM 5 PM


What You Need for this Position:

Bachelors degree in related field is preferred

5 years experience within information technology

5 years of staff management experience

Experience in handling customer/client escalations

Excellent interpersonal management and leadership skills

Experience with internal and external conflict resolution

Past performance recommending strategies policies and procedures

Strong people skills

Patience compassion and empathy

Time managements skills

Effective and Strong written and verbal communications skills

Able to lead by example

Must be a hands on supervisor who can communicate with managements and clients

Ability to perform other related responsibilities as assigned

You are an Ideal Candidate if you have these Qualities:

Have passion for customer satisfaction

Have led teams in customer facing roles

Have significant experience with Linux (Ubuntu preferred) and BASH scripting

Experience with embedded systems

Fundamental knowledge of HTML / PHP / MYSQL / JAVA or any other languages

Critical thinking

Creative thinking

Above all have the desire to lead learn the culture grow and develop the team
