Your Impactful Role:

• Collaborate with a watch team to coordinate responses to network outages working alongside Voice Video IP Transport OSP Construction and local Operations Engineers to ensure swift resolution.
• Maintain daily operations by monitoring identifying and resolving performance issues across servers systems and applications ensuring peak performance and availability.
• Troubleshoot isolate and resolve network outages while providing prompt event notifications to internal and external stakeholders.
• Diagnose and resolve network performance escalations taking ownership of customer issues and seeing them through to resolution.
• Work crossfunctionally on departmental and special projects that showcase your expertise.

What Youll Bring:

• An active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelors degree with 4 years of experience in Network Administration. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Active IAT Level II DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification (e.g. Security CE)
• CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification must obtain within 90 days from date of hire.
• Proficiency with TACACs data packet capture traffic analysis and vulnerability analysis and remediation.
• Proficient in configuring CISCO devices using: EIGRP BGP SNMP TCP/IP OSPF Spanning Tree ARP dot1Q VLANs VPN GRE IPSEC subnetting NAT access control lists and various other routing and networking protocols.
• Experience with data packet capture traffic analysis and vulnerability analysis & remediation.
• Exceptional customer service skills demonstrated ability to work with an incredibly wide variety of teams internal and external customers internal and external service providers.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of the OSI model and how it pertains to various transmission protocols and multiprotocol routing including VRF VPN EIGRP BGP OSPF VPLS and VP
