Job Description

Title: Radiology Technologist

Employment Type: Full Time

Position Responsibilities:

We are seeking a versatile and dedicated Radiology Technologist to provide excellent patient care and support in the clinic. In this role you will perform xray exams while producing the highest quality images safely and efficiently. The responsibilities for this position include explaining procedures to patients and preparing patients for xray procedures. You will handle tasks such as ensuring equipment is in working order reporting all equipment malfunctions to the Radiology Supervisor inspecting exam rooms for cleanliness and equipment conditions and stocking and maintaining exam rooms. This position should also understand Arthrograms and injection process while working with the MRI department. ORA holds all our staff members accountable for providing highlevel care maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations. As a member of our Radiology team you will play a vital role in safely comfortably and professionally assisting our patients through their imaging experience at ORA.

Requirements:

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology is required. The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification is required as well as Iowa and Illinois licenses. One year of xray experience is preferred. A successful candidate will have familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and medical terminology. Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to work in a collaborative team environment is required. This position requires travel to various ORA clinic locations.

The pay range displayed for this position represents the pay range for all positions that are classified in this job grade. Individual pay will depend on a wide range of factors such as candidate skills experience qualifications education location licensure certification requirements and alignment with company benchmarks.
