We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Java Intern to join our team. As a Java Intern you will work closely with our experienced developers to support the design development and implementation of Java applications. This internship is an excellent opportunity for aspiring software engineers to gain handson experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
What Youll Do
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Javabased applications.
- Collaborate with team members on software design and architecture.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of code quality.
- Perform testing and debugging to ensure software functionality.
- Document software features and technical specifications.
- Support the team in various tasks and projects as needed.
What Youll Need
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.
- Basic understanding of Java programming language and objectoriented programming concepts.
- Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Understanding of database management and SQL.
Physical Demands
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor.
