Job Title: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher Resource Provision (RP)

Location: Woodlands Primary School
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: FullTime Permanent
Salary: MPS based on experience & SEN Allowance.

We are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join the team in our growing Resource Provision (RP)a specialist setting within our mainstream school for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role offers the chance to make a real difference to work with children in a dynamic and innovative environment and to develop professionally in a highly supportive team culture. The Role

As an EYFS Teacher in our RP you will plan deliver and assess highquality personalised learning experiences tailored to the needs of young children with additional learning needs. You will work closely with a dedicated team of Teaching Assistants the SENCo the wider EYFS team and external agencies to create a nurturing inclusive and stimulating environment that enables all children to flourish.

You will be part of a collaborative RP team of three teachers working together to plan share best practice and ensure that both staff and pupils are fully supported and can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver highquality engaging and personalised teaching and learning aligned with the EYFS curriculum adapted to meet the needs of children with SEND.
  • Create an inclusive stimulating and safe classroom environment that promotes curiosity independence and a love of learning.
  • Implement and review Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for children with specific learning needs ensuring their targets are woven effectively into daily practice.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues parents carers and a range of external professionals to provide holistic support for each child.
  • Maintain detailed records of childrens progress using assessment to inform responsive and adaptive planning.
  • Communicate effectively and regularly with parents and carers to ensure they are active partners in their childs education.
  • Support the emotional social and behavioural development of pupils ensuring they feel safe supported and valued at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a passionate and resilient team player who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is about to receive it with experience of working within the EYFS phase experience in SEN or resource provision settings or a combination of both.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and the ability to adapt provision to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and is able to build strong positive relationships with children families and staff.
  • Brings creativity flexibility and innovation to their teaching practice with a deep commitment to inclusion and personalised learning.
  • Shows patience empathy and a strong desire to positively impact the lives of children with special educational needs.
  • Is committed to ongoing professional development is eager to learn adapt and grow within a supportive school community.
