Warehouse Team Leader Kirkbymoorside
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 37 per week MonThurs 8:30am4:30pm Fri 8:30am4:00pm
(Flexitime available)
A global manufacturing business based in Kirkbymoorside North Yorkshire is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their team.
The Role:
Youll be leading the Warehouse and Distribution team ensuring efficient safe and accurate handling storage and movement of inventory. This is a key role focused on improving processes managing a small team and ensuring stock control is maintained to a high standard using an MRP system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daytoday leadership of the warehouse and logistics function
- Ensuring timely and accurate inventory control and stock transactions
- Managing goods in/out stock checks and transport coordination
- Driving continuous improvement within warehouse operations
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Generating and analysing reports using KPIs
- Supporting crossfunctional teams including production procurement and sales
Requirements:
- 3 years experience in a leadership or team management role
- 5 years experience in a stores or warehouse setting
- Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment (ideally SME)
- Handson knowledge of stores handling equipment and MRP systems
- Strong IT skills and excellent attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
