Build Technician
Salary: 1718 per hour
Location: Wickford Essex
Hours: 37 per week; shift pattern
Early: Monday to Thursday 6am 2pm & Fridays 6am 1:30pm
Late: Monday to Thursday 1:45pm 9:45pm & Friday 1:15pm 8:45pm
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Full Time Permanent

Build Technician Responsibilities:
- Assemble components to meet delivery deadlines working in line with agreed production schedules and quality standards.
- Ensure all builds meet defined quality criteria following technical specifications and inspection guidelines.
- Adhere to company procedures policies and health & safety regulations maintaining compliance at all times.
- Operate a range of hand and power tools ensuring safe and effective use during assembly processes.
- Utilise calibrated measurement devices fixtures and meters to verify build accuracy and quality.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation recording work in progress and quality control data.
- Perform repairs and rework on nonconforming products as required ensuring components meet required standards efore release.
Build Technician Requirements:
- Proficient in the use of hand tools with a strong practical background in mechanical assembly.
- High level of manual dexterity capable of working confidently with small intricate components.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and assembly drawings ensuring accurate and compliant builds.
- Experience working with ITAR/EARrestricted components adhering to strict handling and compliance protocols.
- Desirable: Previous experience assembling highprecision components to tight quality standards.
