Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Desktop and Network Support Field Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. This is a midlevel contract position designed for individuals with up to 6 years of experience. As a key player within our organization you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to a varied client base ensuring their IT infrastructure is resilient secure and efficiently managed. Your role will involve frequent travel offering onsite technical support across our service areas.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient with mobile device management ensuring seamless integration and operation of mobile devices within enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory for user account management ensuring secure and organized directory structures.
- Comprehensive understanding of Windows OS adept at configuring and troubleshooting across various versions.
- Experience in Office 365 management focusing on deployment troubleshooting and optimizing user applications.
- Handson experience with network configuration able to set up and manage network equipment and resolve connectivity issues.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for desktop and network environments diagnosing a wide array of technical issues.
- Proficiency in System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for deploying and managing devices and applications.
- Imaging (Mandatory skill): Expertise in creating and deploying system images for consistent and efficient device setups.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote support to clients troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly.
- Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades on desktops servers and network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their IT requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Manage and support the implementation of new technologies within client infrastructures.
- Document and report on system performance providing recommendations for improvements.
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment in delivering comprehensive IT services.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends and advancements to provide innovative support.
- Ensure all IT equipment and software comply with established regulations and standards.
