Job Description

UNE Partnerships are looking for passionate Educators to deliver highquality training and learning support across our nationally accredited qualifications in Procurement and Contracting.

Owned by the University of New England (UNE) we are a leading Registered Training Organisation (RTO 6754) providing quality distance and online education to diverse range of students and organisations around Australia and overseas. We take great pride in the success of our students and we make a genuine commitment to helping our clients and corporate partners achieve the same.

About the role:

Our Educators are responsible for delivering effective teaching and learning support for our diverse community of online learners. This role will primarily be delivering our PSP50616 Diploma of Procurement and Contracting with a key focus on student progress and completion.

We are seeking full time or part time Educators (minimum 22 hours per week) with contractor options available.

Location within Australia is flexible as this is a fully remote position. Occasional travel may be required to deliver training.

While not essential the ideal candidate would also be able to support learning initiatives across one or more of our other business qualifications on scope:

  • PSP50122 Diploma of Government
  • BSB40920 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice
  • BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management
  • BSB60720 Advanced Diploma of Program Management.

What youll be doing:

  • Preparing and delivering facetoface and online training sessions
  • Assessing student work in accordance with UNE Partnerships assessment guidelines
  • Initiating contact with students considered at risk on a regular basis to review progress and assist them to overcome barriers to completion
  • Developing and monitoring Learning Support Plans for students with diverse needs
  • Maintaining accurate records of student contact attendance progress and assessment using aXcelerate.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in training materials and delivery strategies

About you:

Essential criteria:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or higher
  • Diploma or higher in Procurement and Contracting
  • Evidence of a minimum 12 years of recent industry experience
  • Experience in VET training and assessment
  • Working With Childrens Check.

Additionally the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Proficiency using Learning Management Systems (ideally Moodle) and video tools or virtual classroom systems (such as MS Teams and Zoom)
  • Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles and engagement strategies to support online learners
  • Experience working with State and Commonwealth Government programs
