DescriptionThe Psychology Specialist Psychometrist will assist fully licensed neuropsychologist in providing neuropsychological assessments for children with learning behavioral developmental and emotional disorders. Helps organize neuropsychologist test materials and assist with writing test reports.
Responsibilities- Coordination of Care
- Assist in the development of individual assessment and treatment plans under supervision of clinical psychologist.
- Collect and record data based on observable patient behavior.
- Maintain uptographs in accordance with direction by supervisors including but not limited to summarizing calculating and analyzing data.
- Actively participate in sessions in accordance with protocols established by supervisors including but not limited to 1) implementation of baseline 2) treatment 3) parent training and 4) generalization sessions.
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of sessionrelated activities (preparing treatment room computers edible and nonedible materials needed for session sanitation of materials toy cleaning etc.)
- Assist with protocol dissemination protocol reviews and staff/parent training.
- Utilize safe and appropriate handling management and guidance procedures when transporting or working with patients under supervision and direction of psychologist.
- Provide direct patient care following the prescribed behavioral protocols.
- Other duties as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QualificationsExperience Education Training Special Skills and Licensure :
- Bachelors degree in psychology education or allied discipline.
