Job Description
Mistras is seeking an entry level technician for fulltime work based in the Rosemount MN area.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
Willingness to develop skills in 2D software
Work towards selfsufficiency within 1yr of hire
Ability to learn and work independently within a year for the following office tools: Office 365 AutoCAD Isometric drawings and P & IDs
Able to lead small projects as skills advance
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Able to work 40hrs in an office setting.
Capable of showing up to as scheduled
Strong computer skills
Experience preferred but not required
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
Essential Physical Functions:
- Ability to frequently lift and carry 3050 pounds.
- Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities with or without reasonable accommodation which permits employee to communicate effectively.
- Sufficient vision or other powers of observation with or without reasonable accommodations which permits employee to conduct investigations.
- Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodations which permits the employee to perform routine office duties.
- Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes with or without reasonable accommodations to perform office duties and travel when necessary to offsite locations.
- Sufficient personal mobility to maneuver within a refinery or plant environment to include the ability to gain access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
