Job Description

Metro Familyof Madison is looking for a candidate with Sales or Sales Manager experience an impeccable reputation and a commitment to customer service at the highest level to be our Sales are one of the fastest growing dealers in the offer above average pay for our high performing Sales Department!

This is your opportunity to lead a team of sharp & dedicated Sales Consultants. Previous dealership Sales Managers or top Sales performers are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate enjoys networking and getting to know customer needs daily. You will mentor your Sales Consultants help them grow their book of business and coach them on our proven Sales processes. If you dont know what a sales manager does in a car dealership please dont apply. This isnt a 95 job and weekends off.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures each customer experience meets or exceeds the criteria indicated on the Customer Expectations for Sales.
  • Ensures high quality and professional services are provided to every customer.
  • Maintains high ethical standards in daily sales activities.
  • Departs from traditional ways of doing things as appropriate to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Works with all dealership personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Runs the sales desk under the direction of the GeneralManager.

Leading a Winning Team

  • Monitors and evaluates daily employee performance of the Sales Consultants providing ongoing feedback coaching training and career guidance as necessary.
  • Ensures employees attend training programs to gain required skills and/or certifications.
  • Conducts sales training meetings as directed by the GeneralManager.
  • Assists Sales Consultants with closing deals when necessary.
  • Ensures that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed.
  • Help Sales Consultants understand the importance of matching the right vehicles to the right target audience.
  • Monitors the efforts of Sales Consultants to enhance the image and customer satisfaction rating of the dealership.
  • Develops a team atmosphere both within the Sales Department and across other dealership departments.

Working Effectively with Others

  • Builds productive working relationships both within and across departments through clear communications using different forms.
  • Has an approachable style; fosters open communication through active listening; maintains an opendoor policy.
  • Speaks clearly concisely and effectively in groups and oneonone.
  • Identifies customer concerns needs and expectations so that action plans can be determined and implemented.
  • Participates in management meetings to ensure open communications between departments.
  • Resolves all customer concerns when necessary.
  • Promotes cooperation and teamwork among all sales employees.

Handling Pressure

  • Solicits encourages and implements innovative methods/ideas to improve customer service and Sales Consultants performance.
  • Handles customer complaints that require managements attention.

Understanding and Using Business Knowledge

  • Maintains Sales Departments operating environment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implements new factoryand/or dealership systems or processes.
  • Provides technical information and assistance to employees as needed.

Applying the Basics

  • Uses computers to monitor daily operations; maintains proficiency in use of inhouse computer systems.
  • Utilizes new systems or processes implemented by the factoryor the dealership.
  • Maintains an awareness of and makes certain Sales Department employees comply with safety regulations and righttoknow policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Available to work flexible hours & Saturdays
  • Ready to hit the ground running on learning new product ins & outs
  • Fantastic communication skills with your customers
  • Professional wellgroomed personal appearance.
  • Clean driving record
  • Willing to submit to a preemployment background check & drug screen
