Job Description

Position Overview:
The Security Admin/Receptionist under the supervision of the Industrial Security Facility Security Officer (FSO) will assist the FSO maintain security posture of the Sparton facility and support the Sparton front desk/reception function.

Learning Outcomes: Process and procedures for supporting Facilities/Security function and personnel.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Implement the identification system for all employees service and technical representatives contractors and visitors to the company.
  • Help provide support to all industrial security programs to ensure compliance with government and company security regulations.
  • Provide oral communication to all site staff relative to security requirements.
  • Assist with the receipt and processing of visit request and contact reports required by the Special Security Agreement and Visitation Approval Procedure Agreement.
  • Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome all personnel that visit the lobby (Customers employees and visitors etc.)
  • Make sure everyone has a badge if passing the badge reader:
  • Knowledge of why and which badge is required.
  • Expertise in making badges.
  • Badge material inventory.
  • Daily visit request notification.
  • Vendor List:
    • Responsible for acquiring proper credentials and paperwork required for Outside Contractors/Consultants/Temporaries.
  • Keep Quarterly Visit Request Logs for Sparton plus Emergency Visit Request reports which meet DCSA and facility requirements.
  • You will be the contact person for property passescoming inside and exiting Sparton.
  • You will be responsible for the contribution and coordinate updates to the electronic welcome board.
  • Help coworkers whenever possible.
Requirements:
  • Sparton interns must meet the following criteria:
  • Nice to Have: Course Completion of Finite Element Analysis Course
  • Active pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without holding a visa or sponsorship.
  • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work onsite in De Leon Springs FL

The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions in the plant. The noise level in the work environment may be loud.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit stand talk and communicate use hands/finger feel and reach with arms. This position requires the ability to lift bend or stoop as necessary up to 20 lbs.
