About the Role:

The Marketing Assistant will support the Compass Lexecon marketing team to deliver a busy events and communications programme across the EMEA region. We are looking for a junior marketing professional who is keen to gain experience across all areas of marketing in a dynamic and multicultural environment. You will report to two Senior Marketing Executives. You will also work with members of the marketing team at our parent company FTI Consulting for central support services.
You will work on various tasks and projects including event support CRM management communications collateral development and general administrative duties. You will have a busy diverse and handson role. The below list of responsibilities is designed to give a good representation of the work involved but is not an exhaustive list.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Events planning and implementation Assisting the marketing team to deliver the EMEA events programme. This will include venue sourcing pre post and onsite logistics organising materials liaising with suppliers tracking costs and event communications using Pardot marketing automation software.
    • CRM and data administration Maintaining data accuracy in our CRM system (Salesforce) and promoting user engagement. This will include creating marketing campaigns updating and segmenting contacts providing technical support for other business users (Admin team) and producing data reports regularly.
    • Digital support Providing support for website content updates social media post design (using Canva) scheduling and reporting and email marketing planning design and reporting using Pardot marketing automation.
    • Sponsorship support Logistical preparation including organisation of exhibition stands collateral and branded merchandise.
    • Collateral development Supporting the production and publication of onbrand marketing collateral and thought leadership.
    • Internal comms Supporting the delivery of internal comms including the intranet and regular marketing email updates.
    • Admin support Assisting with daytoday admin including processing invoices fielding email enquiries desktop research maintaining team documents and proofreading.

Key Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in English (other languages are beneficial); ability to maintain respectful professional internal and external relationships even under pressure.
    • Excellent working knowledge of Word PowerPoint Outlook and Excel.
    • Team player who is proactive and selfmotivated with a strong work ethic and a cando attitude willing to go the extra mile when required and work outofhours occasionally for events.
    • Good organisational and planning skills; able to coordinate and effectively prioritise multiple projects and competing demands.
    • Very high attention to detail and high standard of accuracy.
    • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships and liaise effectively with different business teams.
    • A desire to develop a career within B2B marketing.

Qualifications:

    • Relevant marketing business or communications education or qualifications will be beneficial.
    • 12 years experience providing events or marketing team support within a corporate professional services environment.
    • Experience using marketing automation (Pardot) or similar packages (nonessential).
    • Experience using CRM Sales Cloud (Salesforce) or similar packages (nonessential).
