The Role

As Director of Trade and Partner Marketing for APAC you will lead the strategy and execution of Afterpays most commercially impactful marketing initiativesdriving customer engagement merchant value and business growth across the region. Reporting to the Country Manager APAC youll deliver integrated programs that shape shopping behaviour and enhance Afterpays presence in Australia and New Zealand. This role is based in Sydney through a hybrid of inoffice and remote working.

You will oversee a highperforming team across Trade Marketing Partner Marketing and Visual Merchandising. Youll lead major shopping events such as Afterpay Day and Holiday Season while also driving innovative partner marketing programmes with toptier merchants across retail travel ticketing food delivery and more. As the lead for our Visual Merchandising strategyyou will ensure Afterpay is visually present at point of sale through strong instore execution and brand presence.

Your work will balance strategic leadership with operational excellence creating value for partners and delivering on Afterpays growth goals.

You Will

  • Lead 7 crossfunctional marketers fostering a culture of collaboration creativity continuous improvement and performance.
  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap across Trade Partner Marketing and Visual Merchandising.
  • Drive innovation to unlock customer growth and partner value
  • Execute Afterpays flagship campaigns including Afterpay Day Holiday and EOFY.
  • Lead the design and delivery of innovative comarketing campaigns with key merchant partners across multiple verticals.
  • Oversee Visual Merchandising strategy to ensure strong instore presence brand visibility and product adoption
  • Instill strong governance driving operational excellence and efficacy across all areas of your function
  • Own and optimise budget allocation across all initiatives.
  • Establish robust measurement frameworks to track and report on metrics.
  • Partner crossfunctionally with Sales International Marketing Finance and Legal to align on business goals

You Have

  • Minimum 12 years experience in Marketing with a proven track record in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns and partner marketing relationships
  • Experience leading a crossfunctional team in a fast paced environment fostering collaboration and performance.
  • Strong understanding of consumer insights market trends and customer behaviour.
  • A bold creative mindset paired with commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skillsable to influence senior stakeholders and unify teams around a shared vision.
  • Articulate communicator with experience presenting results insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Background in retail is preferred but not necessary.
