Location: New Orleans LA
Summary
The Senior Program Coordinator provides professional administrative and programmatic support for the Office of Principal Gifts. The position will primarily support the Associate Vice President providing assistance with prospect management travel arrangements scheduling expense reporting and correspondence. Additionally the Senior Program Coordinator may assist in coordinating similar aspects of presidential advancement leadership and other principal gift officers fundraising activities. The Senior Program Coordinator will write debriefing memos ensure that visits and contact reports are tracked in the department database update the proposal pipeline as gifts progress and oversee events and special projects as they are assigned. This position will also provide support on activities related to the universitys upcoming comprehensive campaign.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Strong oral written and interpersonal skills required.
Excellent organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple demands and multiple projects under tight deadlines
Proficient in MS Office applications (Word PowerPoint Excel Access)
Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail and keep projects on task meeting and exceeding timeline expectations.
Ability to work occasional nights and weekends.
Required Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma and 3years related/transferable experience.
OR
Bachelors Degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Some college and 2years direct experience.
Bachelors Degree and 1 years transferable experience.
Knowledge of university fundraising.
