Job Summary

The Systems Engineer (SE) serves as the primary engineer responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our clients networks. The SE proactively makes recommendations to the clients Customer Experience team and possess an extensive understanding of their clients technical infrastructure needs. As the highest escalation point this role provides expert technical support to resolve complex issues and serves as a mentor to the level 1 and 2 technical teams. The SE may execute their responsibilities from the service desk or the field.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation resource for L1 and L2 technical teams providing guidance and expertise to resolve complex issues efficiently.
• Identify and lead projects aimed at enhancing client infrastructure and resolving technical challenges.
• Analyze and understand client agreement utilization trends to identify areas for process improvement and optimize service delivery.
• Provide advanced enduser support and troubleshooting demonstrating proficiency in resolving intricate technical issues.
• Exhibit intermediatelevel proficiency in infrastructure management and troubleshooting to ensure the stability and performance of client networks.
• Cultivate and manage client relationships as the primary engineer ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Document all technical work comprehensively to facilitate accurate client billing and ongoing support; develop and implement processes to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness including automation and process improvements.
• Collaborate with colleagues and serve as a technical resource to address any emergent problems or situations offering mentorship and guidance to the technical team.
• Lead incident response efforts and demonstrate familiarity with ITIL concepts to ensure adherence to industry best practices.

Job Qualifications

Education/Certification Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or similar field or a minimum of 5 years of IT experience.
• Possession of Microsoft 365 Fundamentals Microsoft Azure Associate certifications.
• Additional certifications may be required to qualify for Network Cloud or other paths.

Experience Requirements:

• ITIL concept familiarity
• Valid drivers license
