The Patient Service Representative: Dental Site Lead supports the mission goals and objectives of the Health Center through managing the daily scheduling of patients ensuring that their documentation is current and performing checkin and checkout tasks for patients. Manages dental referrals preauthorizations and handling dental noshow appointments in compliance with associated policies. Works in collaboration with the Billing and Patient Services Manager as a resource for PSRI dental program scheduling processes and workflow. Evaluates processes and works to improve workflows and maximize access and productivity of the clinic. Serves as a lead for projects relating to workflow originating in the Patient Service Registration area.
Skills/experience to include knowledge of dental patient care billing access and compliance issues. Has excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Is skilled with computers and computer applications. Gives attention to detail and possesses problem resolution skills. Has a positive attitude and high energy is a quick learner is adaptable to change and is resourceful and proactive when identifying and resolving problems.
