Are you an experienced automotive professional with a passion for used cars and a talent for driving profitability Join our growing multidealership team as a Used Car Manager/Buyer! We are looking for a highly motivated knowledgeable leader to oversee inventory management pricing strategy and sourcing for multiple locations.
Position Overview
As the Used Car Manager/Buyer you will be responsible for:
- Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory across multiple dealership locations ensuring an optimal mix and volume of highquality used vehicles.
- Vehicle Acquisition: Source and acquire vehicles from auctions tradeins and other channels to maintain an appealing inventory that meets customer demand.
- Pricing Strategy: Develop competitive pricing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining an attractive value for customers.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to ensure accurate vehicle information and optimal presentation supporting sales efforts and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends market conditions and competitor activities to guide inventory and pricing decisions.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop staff members fostering a collaborative resultsdriven culture across the dealership locations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Used Car Manager Buyer or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of inventory management market trends and sourcing techniques.
- Excellent negotiation organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple locations and manage teams remotely.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel as needed.
