Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Table Games Dealer is responsible for conducting and controlling the play of a particular game such as Blackjack Roulette Craps etc.
DUTIES:
- Delivers great customer service by dealing all games offered by Horseshoe Baltimore in a friendly and helpful manner with an upbeat/positive attitude.
- Assists in training guests not familiar with various table games products.
- Promotes table and poker games and serves guests while standing on dead games.
- Demonstrates an effective working knowledge of dealing policies and gaming procedures
- Deals games in accordance with internal controls Maryland Lottery Gaming Control Commission regulations and company policy.
- Informs Supervisor and/or Manager of unnatural or irregular play and disputes on game
- Safeguard casino assets.
- Responsible for the protection and control of the game.
- Conducts the games in accordance with Company policies and ensures compliance with company policies procedures and gaming regulatory requirements
- Verify and sign for Fills Credits Marker Issuance and all documentations listed in Horseshoes Internal Controls. Handling guest transactions and notifying Floor Supervisor of any irregularities.
- Exchange currency for gaming chips and pay or collect bets according to house rules in an accurate manner.
- Demonstrates an effective working knowledge of dealing policies and gaming procedures.
- Able to maintain applicable departmental dealer efficiency metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Dealer School certificate preferred.
- 3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s) if any.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- $6.30 Per Hour (base rate)
- $18.00 Per Hour (min tips)
