About the Role:
OSTTRA is a market leader in derivatives posttrade processing bringing innovation expertise processes and networks together to solve the posttrade challenges of global financial markets. OSTTRA operates crossasset posttrade processing networks providing a proven suite of Credit Risk Trade Workflow and Optimisation services. Together these solutions streamline posttrade workflows enabling firms to connect to counterparties and utilities manage credit risk reduce operational risk and optimise processing to drive posttrade efficiencies.
The Team: The optimisation division development teams are responsible for developing each of the three optimisation products triReduce triBalance and Reset. The thesis project will be embedded in one of these three teams.
The Impact: Together we build and support a post trade optimization platform vital for the global finance infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our experienced research and development team on ongoing projects.
- Conduct indepth literature reviews and identify research gaps.
- Propose design and implement novel work in our field.
- Analyze and visualize data as well as assess performance.
What Were Looking For:
- Strong foundation in the principles of software engineering.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- An interest in delivering high quality software solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Masters program in Computer Science Data Science or a related field.
