Job Description

The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Law Clerk to join our Maroochydore office on a casual basis.

Participants of the program can expect to experience the following:

  • Access to a wide variety of legal work;
  • The chance to develop strong technical knowledge and interpersonal skills;
  • The opportunity to work directly with clients to develop skills on real legal challenges;
  • Onthejob training and mentoring including both technical and nontechnical skills; and
  • Direct access to and support from Principals and senior lawyers.

Requirements

To be considered for the program you will be required to meet the below criteria:

  • A Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5 (or equivalent)
  • An Overall Position (OP) between 1 to 5 or ATAR of 91 (or equivalent)
  • Studying a law degree from an Australian university (as per the Legal Profession Admission Board academic qualifications prerequisite)
  • A demonstrated record of full and/or part time work experience (legal and/or nonlegal)
  • Participation in extracurricular and/or voluntary work.
