At Tulsa Honor Academy (THA) we are on a mission to equip all scholars with the academic skills content knowledge and ethical character required for college graduation and life success.
We believe ALL scholars regardless of race background income or ability can achieve at high levels. We work relentlessly to ensure 100% of scholars are on a path to go to and graduate from a college of their choice beginning in the fifth grade.
Opening our doors in 2015 with 92 fifth grade scholars THA will grow to serve over 1400 scholars in grades 512 across our two campuses in the academic year.

As a Discipline Specialist at Tulsa Honor Academy you will support in cultivating school wide classroom cultures built on strong structures communication and lasting relationships. You will grow as a passionate and constant team member who thrives on feedback enjoys regular coaching with our Assistant Principal of Culture/ Director of Scholar Intervention and nurtures a voracious appetite for professional development and consistent improvement. Every day you will contribute to the education and wellbeing of our scholars.

Core Responsibilities
- Academic Achievement: To ensure all Tulsa Honor Academy scholars are on track to surpass their academic goals Discipline Specialists utilize schoolwide systems for culture/behavior to support scholar success. Discipline Specialists hold all scholars to high expectations and provide the necessary supports for scholars to meet them.
- Data: The Discipline Specialists analyze schoolwide culture data alongside the Assistant Principal of Culture/ Director of Scholar Intervention and make adjustments to ensure fidelity to the THA mission and vision. The Discipline Specialists support School Leaders in driving fidelity of school culture systems across the school network including behavior management attendance and more.
- Communication: The Discipline Specialists maintain consistent and transparent communication between scholars staff and families.
- Behavior Intervention: The Discipline Specialists supervises the Reflection Room On Notice Scholars and manages the daytoday ISS responsibilities. Discipline Specialists issue consequences aligned to network wide norms and structures.
- Relationships:The Discipline Specialists model how to build strong mutually respectful relationships with scholars and families and support staff to do the same.

Quilifications/Certifications
- High school diploma required
- Bachelors degree preferred
Experience
- Prior experience in behavior intervention is preferred
- Prior experience with restorative justice practices is highly preferred
- Prior experience in a charter school setting is highly preferred
- Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation for Discipline Specialists begin at $36000/year. Compensation is commensurate with fulltime K12 experience in accredited schools. THAs compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package.
