The Public Health Studies Program in the Department of Nursing at St. Olaf College invites applications for a parttime (0.50 FTE) oneyear position in Public Health Studies at the level of Visiting Instructor or Assistant Professor to begin August position has the potential for additional years of reappointment.
The teaching load is three courses one during the fall semester and two during the spring semester including Introduction to Public Health and senior capstone.
Salary: $29500 $32000
Qualifications
Terminal degree in Public Health or related field preferred; Masters degree in Public Health or related field required. Previous teaching experience or direct experience in the field is desired.
About the Department
Public Health Studies is a newly created and expanding program at St. Olaf College which has created additional teaching opportunities. While Public Health Studies is housed in the nursing department a nursing degree is not required. The Public Health Studies concentrated is deeply rooted in the liberal arts. Candidate will teach students from a variety of majors.
