Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for the management review program by ensuring all areas are in compliance with established policies and procedures by updating institutional audit files on an annual basis.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the institutions budget and fixed assets audit.
- Enter shopping carts and receive invoices through SCEIS.
- Prepare and maintain records and filing system for special funds accounts.
- Serve as the IRC sponsor and file retention coordinator.
- Responsible for ordering and inventorying all consumables for the center.
- Serve as the backup to the business associate (work releaseinmate pay).
- Serve as the administrative support for the Chaplain.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- Knowledge of SCEIS/shopping cart and Microsoft Office.
- Additional duties and alternative hours may be required.
Must successfully complete four (4) week SCDC Basic Training upon hire.Minimum and Additional Requirements
State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelors degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
(Or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the Division of State Human Resources).- Two (2) years of responsible clerical secretarial or administrative experience.
- May be required to have experience in use of personal computers.
