Assistant Women's Basketball Coach (AP25-050)

SIUE Athletics is recruiting a highenergy strategicminded and studentfocused Assistant Womens Basketball Coach to help build a competitive NCAA Division I program. You will work closely with the head coach on organizing and administering a womens basketball program in accordance with rules and regulations of the NCAA and OVC. You must have a passion for developing studentathletes and help them reach their potential on and off the court.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Assisting in all aspects of program operationscoaching scouting recruiting player development gameday prep and more

• Being a mentor and motivator fostering both athletic and academic growth among studentathletes

• Supporting a team environment that prioritizes health safety and overall wellbeing

• Managing logistics: coordinating practices travel film equipment and compliancerelated documentation

• Cultivating a championship mindset rooted in integrity effort and respect

Qualifications What You Bring to the Program:

• A relentless work ethic and commitment to building a premier Division I program

• Experience in collegiatelevel coaching or playing with strong recruiting connections a plus

• Clear knowledge and adherence to NCAA and Ohio Valley Conference rules and policies

• A proven ability to support the holistic development of studentathletes

• A strong understanding of the balance between competitiveness and compliance

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
Previous collegiate or professional coaching or playing experience
Strong communication and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree
12 years of collegiate coaching experience as an NCAA Division I or II assistant coach or NCAA Division II or III NAIA or NJCAA head coach experience or professional playing experience
