Amazons Pricing Team seeks a Support Engineer to build and maintain infrastructure that impact millions of customers. This role combines DevOps Systems Network and Software Engineering responsibilities. The Support Engineer will design and manage critical infrastructure systems automate operational and development workflows and resolve complex technical issues. Working directly with development teams you will analyze system architecture develop codelevel improvements and drive infrastructure optimization initiatives. You will have handson experience with infrastructure automation system architecture and software development. Youll work directly on systems that power Amazons global pricing decisions and implement solutions that enhance our service reliability and performance.
Key job responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include resolving operational issues through systematic diagnosis and implementation of solutions. You will develop and maintain monitoring systems manage infrastructure configurations and address technical challenges. The role requires collaboration with development teams to enhance existing software automate support processes and maintain comprehensive system documentation.
4 years of software development or 4 years of technical support experience
Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
Experience in Unix
Experience scripting in modern program languages
Experience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflow
Bachelors degree
Knowledge of distributed applications/enterprise applications
Knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating system
Experience analyzing and troubleshooting RESTful web API calls
