- Team leadership including line management of the national Transport Planning team;
- Provide technical direction to Transport Planning projects and workstreams;
- Undertake the role of Project Director or Project Manager on large Transport Planning assignments;
- Providing technical advice to support our clients in addressing their transport challenges;
- Lead business development activities including supporting the account management of our Government transport client key accounts;
- Oversee Transport Planning bid development;
- Contribute to the development and execution of the wider Advisory Planning and Technology Business Units strategy and achievement of targets; and
- Participate in Arcadis global forums relevant to Transport Planning.
Importantly you will share our passion for improving the quality of life and having a positive influence on the way people use our transport network. We are seeking a highly experienced Transport Planner with experience in a broad range of projects including but not limited to:
- Policy and guidance
- Strategy development
- Multimodal transport plans
- Place based transport plans
- Movement and Place frameworks
- Options analysis
- Business case development
You will have:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
- Membership and/or active involvement with relevant industry bodies (e.g. AITPM)
- Previous consulting experience with a strong track record of client delivery
- Established client and industry networks
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to direct reports and proposals lead meetings prepare and deliver presentations to a high standard
- Experience in leading multi discipline project teams
- Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership
