Job Description
The mission of the Foundation AI group is to enable Roblox Creators to accelerate their workflows and to put AI in the hands of millions of users through their creations. We envision a future in which experiences on Roblox leverage generative text and speech capabilities to enable new forms of interactions in their experiences and generative 3D capabilities to allow new ways to create on the platform.
We built our inhouse AI/ML Platform to provide a unified framework for all Roblox teams to accelerate the delivery of AI features to the community. We continuously improve our platform and API framework upgrade our data tooling to enable use cases such as Retrieval Augmented Generation Knowledge Graph Labelling platform and are working to establish a robust evaluation framework to ship AI capabilities with high confidence. In addition we are launching AI APIs to our creator community so they can allow their players to use AI. This means that our platform has to scale up to millions of DAUs.
As the Product Leader for the AI Platform team you will define and drive the vision and strategy for AI at Roblox. You will own our vision and roadmap for enabling Roblox creations to leverage AI to unlock new forms of inexperience interaction and creation and make every user a creator.
You will:
- Work on the bleeding edge of AI Infrastructure and lead the strategy to expose parts of our AI infrastructure to the Roblox Creator Community.
- Be the product DRI that leads the AI API strategy and roadmap to ship GenAI to millions of creators.
- Continuously build and improve core elements of our AI Platform which includes an Inference and Training stack and the AI Data ecosystem.
- Understand the latest trends and technologies in the industry to provide the best most creative platform to users.
- Develop the key workflows that will emerge as a result of shipping new AI generative products to our community.
- Communicate product needs and concepts to company partners and company executives.
You are:
- Experienced with 8 years of product management experience preferably with deep familiarity with AI Platforms and Infrastructure with a degree in a technical field such as Computer Science
- Experiences in atscale product APIs and services you can engage with engineering beyond just product and user needs; you can help design scalable solutions.
- Handson and detailoriented: You use your products can opine deeply about what does/doesnt work and are aware of all the corners and edges of the product
- Creative with a high degree of independent drive you are always keen to grow the limits
